Advisory Committees

Advisory Committees

WVU OHRP relies on advisory groups to represent the WVU research community to ensure processes and systems are efficient and effective.  The committees provide feedback during process/policy development and automated system testing.

Faculty Advisory Committee
The Faculty Advisory Committee is a formal committee requiring a one-year membership commitment and attendance at a monthly meeting.  

IRB Reviewer Advisory Group
The IRB Reviewer Advisory Group is an informal group made up of a subset of members of the WVU IRBs. This group is asked to review process/policy and assist with automated system testing.  Since the members are also committed to IRB membership/IRB Chair membership, meetings are not required.

Human Research Operational Advisory Committee
The Human Research Operational Advisory Committee is a formal committee requiring a one your membership commitment and attendance at a quarterly meeting.
