Do you need help with electronic informed consent (eIC)?

The WVU Office of Human Research Protections and the WVU Research Office have launched a joint service to assist study teams interested in using electronic informed consent. Study teams are encouraged to submit any support request early in their protocol development process to avoid delays. Details of the service are outlined below:

• Assistance for study teams in completing the WVU OHRP-45 eIC Submission Worksheet
  
• Help study teams identify what electronic template and process may best fit their project
• Build the electronic informed consent framework in REDCap or Qualtrics
  

We will contact you within three business days of receiving your request with follow-up questions and additional information for scheduling a training session. Please budget two weeks to a month for the electronic informed consent development and training process.
